"In the spring of 2018 in Palm Springs, California, a diverse collection of real estate innovators, leaders and influencers gathered to hammer out a manifesto for changing the real estate industry. They were guided by the mandate of creating a better and more certain consumer real estate experience."
That statement above is not my language. This is the introduction to the Parker Principles, which was recently created by leaders in the real estate industry, as a road map guiding the industry forward. The idea for this road map is based on the Ahwahnee Principles of 1991, that led to the New Urbanism movement.
Not everyone is going to be interested in this blog post, because it is much more theoretical than my normal musings. And those of you that are not in the real estate industry may not care, unless you are a wonky-type person who loves theoretical discussions (I'm looking at you, Charles). But for those of us who are in the real estate industry, I encourage you to read and to think about the Parker Principles. What do you take from them?
